Installation Methods:
Each type of paver has their own installation methods; be sure you know which one you want before moving on. Concrete pavers can either be set in sand with a mortar base or mortared into place using premixed cement with sand or clay as an aggregate material in Portland cement mortar mix.
Pavers and Belgian Blocks Install and restore:
Many homeowners opt to install pavers in layers, with sand filling the spaces between. This is a good option if you will be using that area for plantings, children’s activities and other purposes. Plus, there are very few steps involved in putting down the pavers – just roll them out and place them in place. To keep the pavers straight, use tape or string to mark their edges as you put them in place.
Belgian blocks are either installed by hand or with paver mixers. If installing the latter method, use shovels to separate each block into individual pieces before transporting them inside.
