This ensures that recovery and migration tasks remain compliant with corporate security policies, supporting Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and eliminating the need to store sensitive administrative passwords locally.
Seamless On-Premises Connectivity
Beyond the cloud, the update strengthens its core recovery engine for local environments. The software now offers enhanced On-Premises Exchange Server access via EWS. This allows for more granular control over mailbox recovery, enabling IT professionals to access and restore EDB files or live mailboxes without requiring a complex MAPI profile configuration. Whether dealing with a crashed server or a simple mailbox cleanup, the EWS integration ensures a stable, high-speed connection to local Exchange databases.
Refined GUI for Maximum Efficiency
Recognizing that data recovery is often a high-pressure task, Shoviv has introduced a Refined Graphical User Interface (GUI). The new dashboard reduces the “click-path” required to initiate a recovery job. With a more intuitive layout, users can easily preview recovered items—including emails, contacts, and calendars—and map source mailboxes to destinations with a simple drag-and-drop logic.
