Press Release
Arya Infrastructure, a leading agritech platform in India, faced challenges with its monolithic deployments. Databases tied to virtual machines caused downtime and lacked disaster recovery strategies. “We once spent over six hours restoring a production database,” shares Mohit Garg, VP of Engineering.
Migrating to Cloud SQL decoupled Arya’s databases, enabling automated backups and Point-In-Time Recovery, reducing recovery time to minutes. Arya adopted a Shared VPC architecture to segregate applications and databases, streamlining workflows and reducing project delays.
To enhance monitoring, Arya used Cloud Trace to build a toolkit for visualizing API and service performance, resolving issues swiftly. Compliance was addressed through Shared VPC isolation for NBFC operations and tools like Cloud Armor for real-time threat protection, Security Command Center for centralized management, and Secret Manager for secure credentials.
For smarter decision-making, Arya automated its data pipeline with Dataflow and Datastream, enabling real-time insights. These tools enhanced collaboration and supported customer-centric innovations like online loan repayments, increasing convenience in rural areas.
By leveraging Google Compute Engine and sustained-use discounts, Arya scaled its infrastructure cost-effectively, cutting expenses by 20%.
Shivaami, a trusted Google Cloud Partner, guided Arya through this transformation, aligning technology with business goals. With enhanced scalability, security, and efficiency, Arya empowers farmers and businesses nationwide, advancing India’s agritech landscape.
