Los Angeles, CA, July 28, 2025 – With the demand for rapid EV infrastructure intensifying in the U.S., Charge Rigs, a leader in flexible charging solutions, today announced the launch of the FLEXX 300, a powerful 300kW mobile DC fast charger engineered for intensely demanding environments, including commercial fleets, transit operations, logistics yards, and emergency response units.

Unlike fixed infrastructure, which can take months to be permitted and installed, the FLEXX 300 is deployable within hours and provides a scalable, off-grid, or grid-connected solution where ultra-fast EV charging access is most needed.

“This product was developed keeping critical operations in mind”, said the Charge Rigs CEO. “Whether you are running a bus fleet or testing a new EV route, FLEXX 300 brings power very efficiently, quickly, and reliably.”

It is designed to be extremely flexible; it has features such as dual vehicle fast charging, remote energy management, over-the-air software updates, and a weatherproof casing for outdoor use. It includes both CCS and NACS connectors and may be used either as a standalone charger-writer with integrated battery storage or with the local grid as a peak shaving or support resource.

With 300kW of capacity, multiple EVs can simultaneously be charged for less than 30 minutes, thus providing for the quintessential use for sectors that cannot afford downtime. With the increasing penetration of EVs in commercial transportation, fleet operators have maintained the necessity for portable yet muscle-filled charging systems able to move with operations.

“The FLEXX 300 bridges the infrastructure gap for high-volume fleet operators and government agencies,” said Kristen Doyle, Vice President of Product Operations. “It’s the future of EV charging—available now and built to adapt to evolving energy needs.”

Besides serving the fleet industry, the FLEXX 300 will become truly valuable for disaster response and military logistics, wherein the possibility of fast off-grid charge can make a lasting difference; its buffered, battery-powered operation supplies a stable energy source in low-connectivity or damaged-grid environments.

This system can help with real-time tracking of performance, control of charge sessions, and perform data analytics to gain insight and optimization for energy use.

Pilot programs have been instituted with government agencies in Texas, California, and Nevada. Full commercial availability is anticipated for the beginning of 2026. Charge Rigs offers flexible financing options, including lease, revenue share, and outright purchase.
