FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Milwaukee, WI November 5, 2025 Manny Gumina Productions announces the premiere of the new independent horror feature Creature Fear, written and directed by Manny Gumina. The 82-minute film will make its world premiere on November 7, 2025, at the Buried Alive Film Festival in Atlanta, where it has been nominated for Best Feature.
Creature Fear follows a starving felon whose desperate act sets off a violent chain of events that ensnares two musicians in a nightmarish spiral. Shot in the same Wisconsin county where Ed Gein committed his infamous crimes, the film combines psychological tension, folklore, and Midwestern grit.
“Creature Fear is a study in escalating desperation,” said Manny Gumina, writer and director. “Being nominated for Best Feature is an incredible honor. We made this film with heart, grit, and a deep respect for the horror genre, and it’s thrilling to see it recognized on its first outing.”
Produced by Manny Gumina, Derek Schmitt, and Jake Prine, the film stars Natalie Gerene, Jarrod Langwinski, and Billy Chengary. Following its festival debut, Creature Fear will continue on the 2026 festival circuit while seeking international distribution.
