007 Miles for Meals Road Rallye

    October 19, 2019, Chesapeake, VA

On Saturday, October 19, 2019, the Rotary Club of Hampton Roads (RCHR), will hold conduct its seventh annual road rallye (007 Miles for Meals Road Rallye) to benefit the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. The 007 Miles for Meals Road Rallye is a scavenger/trivia type event that will be fun for two or more people or a family team who enjoy driving country roads while testing their skills at knowing their surroundings. This is not a race or motoring skills competition but a time to have some fun on the road.

The green flag for the 007 Rallye drops at the Tidewater Community College Regional Automotive Center at 600 Innovation Drive, Chesapeake, VA, at 12:00pm. Foodbank Staff will lead the lineup of cars in their logo vehicle.

The endpoint is the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail picnic area at 1200 Dismal Swamp Trail, Chesapeake, VA, which hosts the endpoint celebration until 4:00pm. Entry fee is $50 per car and allows entry for two at the endpoint celebration with Pollard’s chicken and BBQ, and a beverage. Wine auction and raffle will add to the fun. Ala carte food and beverage will be available for $20 per person. Prizes will be awarded for First In, Last In and Best Effort.

007 Miles for Meals Rallye proceeds will be distributed to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore by the RCHR Foundation, a 501(c) (3) organization, during the local Mayflower Marathon in November 2019.
